Getting There:

The easiest way to reach Nusa Penida is you can use the fast boat that departs from Sanur and need 45 minutes to arrive there. There are many operators offer fast boat service to Nusa Penida, usually departs at 07:00 a.m. or 09:00 a.m. however the schedules might be changed or not operated if the weathers condition bad enough. Even you can get the fast boat ticket by the date you want to go but it is better to make the reservation at least one day before.

Things to do:

3. Angel Billabong is the next place that you should not be missed when you already decide to have your excursion to this island. It’s basically a little lagoon, set in the middle of the black and craggy volcanic rock. You also may swim in the lagoon but be warned that people have been swept out to sea by the powerful waves.
4. Last but not least, Kelingking Beach also will amaze you by its cliffs jutting into the sea, locals called the Coral Dawa/Paluang. This place is also well known as Manta Ray’s spot, look closely and you can see Manta Rays swimming around in the clear water.

Transportation:
You will not find many transportations like in Kuta, Seminyak or other touristic area in Bali here, cars and motorbikes are also available but not in huge amount and of course this island is a perfect place for travelers who are bored with the hustle bustle of the city as this island is less of crowds.
